One woman who is well-known for her extensive tattoo collection is Melissa Sloan, aged 46. She is actually famous for being completely covered in ink from head to toe.
In fact, this mother of two proudly sports a whopping 800 tattoos, which she believes makes her the ‘most tattooed person’ in the world.
You might be wondering how often Melissa adds to her tattoo collection, considering she already has so many.
Well, it turns out that she gets an astonishing three new tattoos every week.
While Melissa has a deep love for tattoos, her appearance has had a significant impact on various aspects of her life. She has faced bans from her local pub and encountered challenges in finding employment.

During an interview, Melissa shared her experiences.
“I can’t get a job. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos.”
“People have said I have never had a job in my life, but I have had one once, and it didn’t last long.”
“If someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work – I would take that offer.”
Melissa’s tattoos have also had an impact on her children’s lives. According to the mom, she had to watch her children’s nativity play last year through a window because she was not allowed inside the school.
“No Christmas parties and when I go to my child’s school, I don’t get invited,” she said.
Due to her appearance, Melissa has also been prohibited from entering her local pub.
However, Melissa has accepted that there’s “nothing she can do about it” at this point. She intends to keep getting tattoos until she reaches the age of 70, if possible.
“Every bit of skin will be covered even if I’m turning blue, my face is already turning blue — I look like a Smurf,” she confessed.
However, Melissa has encountered obstacles in her quest for more tattoos, as she has been barred from certain tattoo parlors.
Melissa’s head is completely adorned with tattoos, but she wasn’t satisfied with just one layer. She went to the extent of tattooing over her existing designs until her face was covered in ink not once, but twice.
In recent times, Melissa has even added a third layer of tattoos, solidifying her belief that she holds the Guinness World Record for being the most tattooed person in the world.
She shared: “I’m trying to get into the Guinness Book of Records.”
“I’ve got three layers on my face, I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not then at the rate I’m going on I probably will have in the end – I keep going over and over them.”
